We're Silver Thumb Games, a three-person indie studio in Saudi Arabia. This policy covers our website (silverthumb.games) and our newsletter. Questions about any of it? Write to privacy@silverthumb.games.
Subscribe and we collect exactly one thing: your email address. It goes to Kit, the email service that stores our list and sends the newsletter: weird news, rarely. Consent is double opt-in: nothing counts until you click the confirmation link, and that click is our record of it. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe. Want your address wiped from Kit's records entirely? Email us and it's done.
Our host (Hostinger) keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and uptime. We don't use them to identify or profile anyone.
This site sets none. No analytics, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting. That's also why there's no cookie banner.
The Transmissions page can show posts embedded from X, Bluesky, TikTok, and Instagram. When one renders, your browser loads it straight from that platform, which may set its own cookies and collect data under its own policy, linked above.
See it, fix it, delete it. Email privacy@silverthumb.games and we'll sort your data out. That's your right under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and the GDPR where it applies. No forms, no runaround.
The site and newsletter aren't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything substantial gets a line in the newsletter.
That's the whole policy. Boring on purpose. We save the convolution for the games.
